As we start the final term of the academic year the lighter mornings, longer days, warmer temperatures
and spring offerings of daffodils and blossom bring a sense of hope and joy after the cold days, dark
mornings and evenings following Christmas. I hope you all had a well-deserved and restful Easter break
with family and friends, and I hope your children are ready for the final term.
I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to welcome you as parents to The Alliance
Multi Academy Trust (TAMAT) because on 1 April St Martin’s CE Primary and Powell Corderoy Primary
officially joined TAMAT. The journey to this point started over 18 months ago as your Headteachers
and governors started to look to the future for what is best for your communities, long term and
beyond what the local authority can provide.
