Update 2nd March
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the announcement by the government on 22nd February, that all children are to return to school on Monday 8th March, we are writing to you so that you have a little more information, which we hope will be helpful to you. In planning, we have considered government guidelines carefully and also looked at adjustments that might be necessary for our premises, our site and for our particular school community.
This letter focuses on some specific detail for St Martin’s.
As always, the well-being of your child will be central to all of our thinking as we take the next steps forward through this pandemic. Therefore, for their initial few days in school, we will be sharply focused on ensuring that all the children feel welcomed, happy and safe.
You will be aware that the government expects all children to return to school on Monday 8th March and therefore it is our expectation that every child will attend school.
We aim to continue to stagger the children into school in the mornings and ensure that they leave our site in a similar fashion.
